Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TreasuryMonitor, operated by Moxtech Developers ("we", "us", or "the Company"). By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering a binding contract under the laws of the Republic of Uganda to use TreasuryMonitor.

TreasuryMonitor is a portfolio tracking and cashflow management platform purpose-built for Uganda's government securities market. It allows users to:

• Record and track treasury bill and bond holdings
• Generate automatic coupon schedules and cashflow forecasts
• Monitor upcoming Bank of Uganda auction dates
• Track auction bids and award statuses
• Grant limited, permission-controlled access to delegates
• Access AI-powered portfolio insights

TreasuryMonitor is a tracking and information tool only. It does not execute trades, hold funds, provide regulated financial advice, or act as a broker, dealer, or investment manager. See our Financial Disclaimer for full details.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at info@treasurymonitor.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised access that you fail to report promptly.

One account per individual. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or access controls is prohibited.

You agree to use TreasuryMonitor only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Enter false, misleading, or fraudulent financial data
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the platform
• Use automated tools to send requests at a rate that unreasonably burdens our infrastructure
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without our written consent
• Use the platform to engage in any activity that violates applicable laws, including Uganda's Capital Markets Authority Act or Anti-Money Laundering laws

Your content — Portfolio data, holdings records, and any other information you enter into TreasuryMonitor belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your data. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that data solely to provide the service.

Our content — The TreasuryMonitor platform, including its design, code, brand, algorithms, and AI models, is owned by Moxtech Developers and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

Auction data — Public Bank of Uganda auction notices and results displayed on the platform are sourced from publicly available government publications. We make reasonable efforts to keep this information accurate but do not warrant its completeness or timeliness.

As an account owner, you may grant other registered users access to your portfolio under defined permission levels. You are responsible for ensuring that only authorised individuals are granted delegate access and for revoking access promptly when no longer appropriate.

By accepting a delegation invitation, a delegate acknowledges they are accessing another user's financial data in a fiduciary or advisory capacity and must treat that information with appropriate confidentiality.

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure updates, or third-party outages may cause temporary downtime. We will endeavour to give advance notice where possible.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time, with reasonable notice provided for material changes. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of those changes.

TreasuryMonitor may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Where fees apply, the pricing, billing cycle, and included features will be displayed clearly before any charge is made. All fees are stated in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) unless otherwise indicated.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe you were billed in error.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of financial data, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that cashflow projections or portfolio summaries are free from error.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Moxtech Developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform, including lost profits or investment losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or UGX 100,000, whichever is greater.

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if we determine, in our reasonable judgment, that you have violated these Terms or that your use poses a risk to other users or the platform.

On termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
